-
- An example for !iicAlarm.
-
- Do the following to test the system:
- - Copy the files in this directory onto an adfs-disk (root-dir).
- - Copy !iicAlarm to the root-dir of that adfs-disc.
- - Start !Alarm with the 'Alarms' file and check the alarm-times and dates
- as well as the path- and filenames.
- - call 'BootADFS' to enable your computer to boot from the disk.
- - switch off your system and wait...
-
- What should happen...
- - the computer is switched on and boots the disc.
- - the desktop is started and !Alarm is run.
- - !Alarm starts !Draw with the 'Blub'-file.
- - 5 Minutes later the computer is switched off.
- - This is repeated every day.
-
- Have a look at the files...
- !Boot
- - It sets the variable 'Alarmfile' to the current Alarmfile.
- - The !iicAlarm-mainprogram is started. It initialises the variables.
-
- - some stuff is done
- - you can include your normal boot-sequence here if you ask for the mode
- of operation. AlarmMode is set to the following:
- 0 = iicAlarm aktive, user mode.
- 1 = iicAlarm active, automatic startup.
- if AlarmMode is not set at all, the iicAlarm is not active.
-
- - In the Desktop, !Alarm is started with the current Alarmfile.
-
-
- Alarms
- - contains a Task-alarm that calls the desired program, batchfile....
- the alarm is normally repeated.
- If it is a batchfile you should end it with the shutdown-command instead
- of using another task-alarm to switch your computer off.
- - may contain a direct command like Alarmshut, which switches the computer off.
-
- There are many things to experiment with, try it.
